The location couldn’t have been better. At the foot of Skipton high street, near the canal, with plentyof pubs and eating places to choose from. Skipton is a very pretty town. Our room was clean, with separate shower and toilet, Sky tv and a small fridge stocked with an adequate continental breakfast for two. The owner met us on arrival and was friendly and welcoming. Happy to recommend the place.

Perfect location for town centre room was equipped for all needs mini fridge was very useful bed and bedding was very comfortable the fan provided was a god send as it was very warm at night will definitely stay again in the future and the lady who sorted my room and replaced the replaced everything that we need to so polite helpful and friendly

This accommodation was right in the town centreA bit hard to find as went by Sat nav rather than the map sent to us. Tucked away down the back. Room was clean and okay size although shower was very small. If you are a rotundperson try and request a room with a bigger shower. We had a downstairs room and we're woken and kept awake by upstairs coming home late. No fault of the B and B. Breakfast in room was very welcome

My stay at the Townhouse B&B was ideal, right in the centre of pretty Skipton! Spotlessly clean (always a big plus in my opinion) comfortable, with Sky TV, a bath, breakfast, kettle,hairdryer etc. The landlord has a very good standard, great value for money and also athoughtful take on everything that I might have needed to make my stay as comfortable as possible. He also allowed me to park early, kindly saving me my car park fee from across the road, as there was space free at the back of the B&B. (Every little helps!) I had enough breakfast in the room, so I haven't tried the cooked breakfast and can't pass any comments on it. EXCELLENT.

Comfortable B&B in the centre of town.Best thing is you can choose between a cooked breakfast and a free continental one from items in/on fridge in your room. I had instant porridge, croissant, cheese and an apple which is ample to start the day. It would've been nice to have a chair - there's enough space.

Arrived earlier than stated which was no problem we were greeted byMick who was very friendly and accommodating he let us park our car early so we could have a walk round Skipton .our room was very clean and presentable ,we opted for continental breakfast which was delivered to our room on both days ,on leaving Mick again kindly let us leave our car in their car park for a couple of hours thank you ,we will definitely be returning .

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at The Townhouse B and B and its been perfect, great location, right in the centre of town and 5 minute walk from the bus station. The room had everything we needed,clean, warm and spacious. We opted for the cooked breakfast every morning for an extra cost of £6.50 per person but it was well worth it and set us up for the day. Keep doing what you're doing as it's working. Thanks again

Although not inspiring form the outside being located in a service yard / car park, Townhouse B&B is very well presented and extremely clean on the inside. Proprietor Mick is very friendly and jovial. The in-room breakfast was adequate, so I didn't take the cooked breakfast although the breakfast room was nice too. Superbly located literally two minutes from the bottom of Skipton High Street, opposite the Bus Station, two minutes from the canal and 10 minutes from the station. Despite this very central location it was very quiet and peaceful.

From the moment I arrived and the lovely house keeper showed me to the room I was so impressed! The room was clean, comfortable and so nice! Having the complimentary continental breakfast in the room was a wonderful touch! The parking was so handy and the location of Town House couldn’t have been better! Town house b&b is in a great location, clean but not spotless room had everything you need small fridge. continental breakfast was ok I personally prefer a cooked breakfast which I realised too late we could have had but needed to be pre booked. Tea and coffee making facilities. We would stay here again however not in the room we had as it was up quite a few stairs. The owner was helpful and pleasant.

We stayed in Room 7 family room, very clean & spacious. Loved the fridge in the room with continental breakfast as an option. We opted for cooked breakfast which was lovely.Host is very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend. It is right in the centre of Skipton and has free parking too.

2nd visit lovely rooms always clean and everything you need is provided. The property is hidden away but right in the heart of Skipton. Close to shops bars etcjust a short walk away. The owner is lovely and can't do enough for you. A very good set up indeed.

We stayed 1 night. The owner met us and gave us the key . We were early so we didn't check in till later. We could have checked in earlier if the room was ready.There was a good car park. The room was comfortable a good size with warm bedding which was appreciated. Heating in the room was very goodand adjustable The towels in the big bathroom were white and soft.There was a small fridge with apples, cheese and spreadContinental breakfastwas really good and consisted of instant oats, breakfast biscuits, croissants and orange juice. Plenty of tea and coffee.. The small fridge contained the orange juice and cheeses,spreadand apples. All ready to eat in the room.English breakfast was provided but we didn't order it so can't comment.A pleasant stay . The only negative was that you could hear people in the other rooms.The owner very helpfuland friendlyavailable to help at all times.I would definitely be happy to stay here again . Thankyou

Thank you. Our stay was pleasant and the room was warm and comfortable. We had difficulty with the TV even following the directions we could not get the movie to begin. However there was plenty to watch on the TV channels.

Three of us were booked into another hotel for 3 nights in Skipton but unfortunately there had been a mix-up with dates.We could only stay one night there and had to find alternative accommodation for the remaining two nights.Mick was very helpful and was able to offer us a very comfortable 3-bedded room with a good bathroom.We settled in very quickly and were very happy with all the facilities.He cooked us tasty breakfasts each morning and made us very welcome.

A lovely welcome and Mick showed us to our room which was spotless. Everything we required was there. Kettle, fridge tea coffee milk etc. We had a very tasty full English breakfast which was freshly cooked the next morning. Would stay again.

Perfect location right in Skipton town centre; but it’s nice and quiet as it’s just set back enough; you just walk through a little ginnel and you’re there on the Main Street. There’s free parking too, which is always a bonus. Our room was lovely too, as we’d had an upgrade to a family room instead of the double room we’d originally booked, and it was spacious with everything in there you need. The tower fan was very welcome too, as we were in the middle of a heatwave! The B&B also provides Sky TV, which was excellent as we could watch the US Open tennis finals as we’re huge tennis fans. Mick the owner was very welcoming and friendly and we also met the housekeeper called Michelle, who was very helpful and friendly too. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Townhouse and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again as and when we return to Skipton

A reasonably priced, spotlessly clean basic but comfortable b&b in central Skipton. Easy access to shops, restaurants,cafes, pubs, markets, train and bus station. This accommodation is fabulous, right in the middle of Skipton, was a lot more expensive than last year. Last year a single room for 4 nights was £200 , this year a single room for 2 nights was £180.So would I go back … only if Mick reviews his prices, £90 a night is a bit excessive.

Description did not explain that the breakfast included in the price was for continental only and cooked would be extra. Room clean but needs a little TLC. Excellent location for exploring Skipton. Had to change booking from 3 nights to 2 nights for personal reasons and Mick kindly sorted refund through Booking.com. Overall a pleasant stay.

What a brilliant find the Townhouse B&B is!Very central (but quiet), private parking and spotlessly clean.The owner Mick was very pleasant and helpful. Lovely continental breakfast left in the fridge of our room (although you can book a cooked breakfast if you prefer). We will definitely be back.

We stayed for breakfast which was lovely and was made by the owner Mick, who was very helpful.The B&B is in a great location and very central for all amenities. The only downside to my stay was the attic room which wasn’t brilliant if you suffer from back problems or are 6’2”.Overall very pleasant stay.

The room I stayed in had everything and more you would need for your sleep. Plenty of tea, coffee and more importantly milk! Snacks too! The bed was extremely comfy and between the window and the radiator the room could be kept at a nice temperature all night. I wouldn't hesitate to stop here again.

Having found myself with need of a stop over in Skipton, I booked this establishment because in my mind it was fairly cheap. Usually do a travel lodge, but felt like a change and the travel lodge price was crazy money for one night. Booked in, it was clean tidy had a continental breakfast in the room for the morning. But I asked for the full English at an extra 5 pounds for the morning. Full tea and coffee making facilities and all sky channels on the TV which was great. Slept really well and it was very quiet considering it was in the town center. My breakfast was perfectly fine in the morning well worth a fiver. This place in my mind is a bargain for what you pay. Would definitely recommend and stay again 5 stars from me.

Good communication leading up to the day of arrival. Very clean and comfortable accomodation. Access to the room was via a safe box which was sent on the day of arrival. Continental breakfast was OK- possibly some other choice of cereal boxes and a carton on milk. Would return definitely- thank you.

Very nice B&B we stayed one night and it was great . We were in room 11 right at the top of the building. There were a lot of stairs to climb and no lift so if you have trouble with climbing stairs make sure you ask for a room down stairs. Watch out if you go to the loo at night and your sleeping on the left hand side of the bed you could bang your head on the ceiling as I did 😂. The room was very clean and tidy the bathroom was spotless too. Everything you needed for your stay.When you book your stay the room price is for a Continental breakfast which is in your room, but I recommend you book a full English breakfast in their tea room just around the corner to your room. The breakfast’s are fabulous and for an extra £5 per person are well worth it.The owners are very nice people and very easy to talk to. I would highly recommend this place.

Arrived on Friday afternoon. Mick the owner was very friendly and informative. He showed us to our room which was very clean and comfortable. After a lovely walk out and drink at the narrow boat we retired back to the room where a lovely cup of tea was enjoyed with the patio doors open. After a bath (water red hot) bed was calling, very comfortable and extra pillows in wardrobe. Kept the window open all night and even with nightclub nearby we weren’t disturbed. We booked full Englishbreakfast for 9.30am which was very good with toast coffee/tea. Again mick was very friendly and chatty. Will definitely be back soon

Had a fantastic trip to Skipton.The B&B was in the perfect location with free parking, easy to find and right in the center of town but quite.Room was clean and looked freshly painted. Had enough storage.Shower room was adiquate.They provided lots of extras inc. shower gel, hairdryer, tea coffee making facility, tiny fridge and things for basic continental breakfast. And a fan.Host was lovely really attentive. Room was freshened every day. Would definitely stay again and recommend. Locals are so friendly, loads of places to eat, loads of bars/pubs with entertainment, live music. And right near the Canal beautiful.

Uptodate bathroom with good waterflow(not always a feature of UK plumbing), plenty of refreshments. Comfy bed. Breakfast supplied to room pre-packaged to minimise contact with staff was a good covid prevention. But welcoming host.Central location with onsite parking was very convenient.

The rooms were very clean & comfortable ...an excellent base for our little break. Just a suggestion...it would be nice to have a bedside lamp both sides of the bed...difficult to read with just the one..also, for a couple , the table was too small to sit two comfortably to eat our nice breakfast...! The room was very clean and tidy.Continental breakfast was included and available in the room with the handy mini fridge but you also have the benefit of a lovely cooked breakfast in the tea room situated on the first floor at a small extra charge.Having the benefit of free off road parking is also a huge help as Skipton, with its many market days, can prove challenging to park.

Perfectly situated for visiting Skipton. Very clean but basic. Typical traditional Guest House. Rather overpriced for what it was. Check in was’nt until 4pm which is a little late and check out was 10.30am which was ok but 2 while 11 would be better.Continental breakfast was included and cooked breakfast was available for an extra charge which would then have made the overnight stay almost £140 which it didn’t warrant.

The Townhouse B&B is situated right in the heart of Skipton, it’s perfectly placed for all amenities and there is car parking on site. The bedrooms are lovely and clean and there are tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. A complimentary cold breakfast is provided, however a cooked breakfast can be purchased on sight and it’s well worth the money, I might add. If I had any criticism, the mattresses could do with upgrading to better quality ones.

First time trip to this splendid market town and I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay. Situated in the heart of Skipton so within a walkable distance of various pubs, restaurants and shops the Townhouse is ideally located and offering free parking is always a bonus when staying in town centres...the single room was well equipped, warm, cosy, surprisingly quiet and the bed very comfortable.Yes I enjoyed my one night at the Townhouse and would certainly book again if I'm ever back in the area.

The owner was very welcoming and went through everything in our room.We had a standard double roomSky tv was very welcome and easy to operatePlenty of tea and coffee with a good supply of milkWe opted for the continental breakfast which was not brilliant. The porridge l couldn’t get the lumps out so left it but enjoyed the breakfast biscuits and apple and cheese.The room had a lot of drawer space and adequate hangingThe bed is ready for replacing as the springs were a tad uncomfortable when you turned over.It was a pity the shower was very small and you couldn’t stop water spreading onto the floor but plenty of bath mats for that.Very very good position for parking your car and walking into the town.

We really enjoyed our 2ndstay at the townhouse. Mick the host was very friendly and chatty. Our room was a good size and everything we needed. Prefer a ground floor room but we asked for rooms next to each other so that is why we were on the 2and floor. The stairs were rather steep. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean but the controls on the shower were too high. Bed was very comfy. Enjoyed the breakfast. Very tasty. Right in town centre and will definitely stay again. Needed to find a place to stay for 1 night in Skipton near my sons house who was getting married the following day. This b and b fitted the bill perfectly being only a 5 minute walk to his house and we were not disappointed. We have stayed here on several occasions and hopefully stay here on our next trip. Excellent location with parking which is a bonus in Skipton. Couple minutes walk to town and amenities. About ten minute walk from the rail station. Didn't have breakfast but adequate tea/coffee and eats provided in the room. Comfy bed.

I can recommend Town House B&B for those visiting Skipton. It's located right in the centre of town and for anyone who loves curry like me there's a Bengali restaurant mere yards from the front door. The room I had was clean and comfortable and even had a mini fridge which was great. Considering the reasonable price of the rooms, it's all very good value.

Very clean room in a very good location for skipton town centre. Plenty of parking outside your room (reminded us of a motel 😁) upgraded to the cooked breakfast and it was very good so well worth it, even got a lovely pen as a farewell gift! Had a spur of the moment trip to Skipton and Townhouse B&B provided the ideal overnight stay. Basic facilities but spotlessly clean in a great location for town centre shops, bars and restaurants etc Very good communication from Mick and great arrangements for checking in and parking was a doddle at rear of premises. I stayed at Town House B&B for one night in July 2021. I arrived early and the housekeeper and owner were very helpful in letting me leave my bag in storage (I was confused by the lack of a reception area but the owner was easily contacted by phone). Unfortunately I had to leave a couple of days earlier than planned and they were very helpful and accommodating about this.The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped and the B&B is located close to the town centre and castle and fairly near the station.The continental breakfast in the room was fine although if I had stayed longer I would probably have opted for the cooked breakfast (for a £5 surcharge).

We stayed for 2 nights and received a warm welcome from the owner, Mick. The Town House is ideally situated near the town centre but tucked away from any noise but only a short walk from the many bars and restaurants in Skipton. Car parking is available outside the door. Room 7 where we stayed is bright and spacious. All facilities were extremely clean. There is a small fridge in the room and a continental style breakfast is provided which we enjoyed. A full breakfast is also available at a very reasonable charge and is cooked to order. Would highly recommend a stay and we would have no hesitation in booking again.

Just had a 3 night stay.5 mi nites from station easily found. Round the corner from the main St. Handy for Castle, woods and all amenities. We had a top floor room. Everything clean and comfortable, sky tv shower/bath. Small fridge in room for continental breakfast or option for hot breakfast if required. The owners were great and very helpful. Would recommend.

Stayed for a night at Townhouse. The room had everything we needed and the central location was a great advantage. The Owner and staff were really helpful, we dropped our luggage off prior to getting access to our room so we could enjoy our afternoon hands free! 1 small comment about room 5 which would be a minor adjustment would be to have a mirror near enough to the socket to allow those of us with hair to see what style we are creating after our morning shower. ????

This hotel is central and in what we regard as the perfect location. Offers parking on site which is normally difficult in Skipton. Also has bike storage which was a massive plus.The room was spacious and had good tea/coffee making facilities.Very clean. 'Long weekend stay'An absolutely lovely stay in this beautiful market town. Excellentfacilities, very central in the town and extremely convenient. LovelyYorkshire folk in and around the town. Ideally placed location when visiting the Yorkshire Dales.Skipton is a lovely town which boasts its castle (well maintained) &visitor friendly.There are many places to eat and drink and nice easy walks through woods and along the canal.Tours are available along the canal and hiring a barge for thosewho want to explore at leisure.We will certainly visit again next year 2022.

Just stayed for 2 nights, the information to get into room was good and always available to ring if a problem. The room was ground floor and it was warm and clean and breakfast was adequate and was offered to have extras left on first day if needed but declined as having a breakfast on way home. Very friendly owner. Only down side was the people above us loudly walking about alot but not the guest house fault.

Just after you left there was a major pipe burst in the street nearby so I don\'t know if the shower issue was caused by a problem with the water pressure. Either way you should have let us know during your stay so we could have attempted to rectify it for you.

We wanted somewhere nice and central to stay in Skipton as we were going on an early morning train journey. Townhouse was the perfect solution, very comfortable room, lovely and clean everywhere, smelt clean too. Because of the current Covid situation, a continental breakfast was provided, we were informed of this before we travelled. Plenty of eating/drinking to choose from and in walking distance. Would stay here again when over this way.

Whilst missing a view the location is perfect, right in town centre and with parking!covid 19 precautions in place so we didn't have any concerns in that regard. Super continental breakfast left in the room, loved the micro fridge.We've stayed here before so the squeaking floors weren't a surprise but they are quite noisy. Quality toiletries and a eco friendly system for the plastics issue.Great little place.

Arrived late afternoon, was easy to find with directions given. Parked easily. Room was very clean, came with breakfast and tea/coffee. Bed was comfortable. Mick was very helpful and happy when we spoke. Would definitely recommend.

Recently stayed in the Townhouse Bed & Breakfast.No problem with parking. Room clean and tidy (some burnt iron marks in the carpet) but not a concern as hardly in the room.Downsides were, no cooked breakfast (due to covid situation), stairs a little steep where some may struggle but we were ok.Just a quick point the room had no fire alarm and didn't notice any anywhere else.

The reception my wife and I received was wonderful, we were recommended to try several eating establishments, we chose the Craven Kitchen, I have to say it was excellent, we will be going again. The room was clean, bright, warm and most welcoming. With the Coronavirus still looming, breakfast was of the continental type, I have to say there was enough to feed a small army! With a mini fridge that contained fresh milk and orange, with, plenty of tea and coffee.

We are hoping at some stage to try and fit one, but it requires major alterations. We also have another single room in our sister hotel Central B&B, which does have an en-suite shower, which you are more than welcome to book in the future.

A warm Welcome from the owner who showed us to our room and explained all the features.Nice, clean, spacious room.Bathroom is a good size too.Plenty of tea/coffee/milks supplied.I also liked the full mirror with a socket next to it which made drying my hair so much easier.Cooked breakfast is ordered the night before but that was no problem as we always have a cooked breakfast when away.The breakfast room was next door and upstairs which may not suit people with mobility issues.All in all we had a very comfortable stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed here for 1 night perfect central location, we went to Bolton Abbey and the castle. Large clean bedroom and bathroom, comfy beds and a lovely cooked breakfast, free parking and a very helpful owner what more can you ask for ? Would definitely stay again thank you !

Stayed here just for a Saturday night and had a nice stay. I booked a single room, it was clean and comfortable. Sky Sports in your room was an unexpected bonus. Town centre location was terrific and ample parking. The breakfast the morning after was absolutely delicious with a wide and varied choice. Overall I was very satisfied and it represented great Value for money.

Enjoyed our stay in Skipton at the Townhouse. Our hosts were so welcoming and couldn’t be more accommodating allowing us into our room earlier to change for a family wedding . Both rooms were very clean and comfortable and the breakfast delicious.

Surprisingly good for the pricebut its in an odd location i.e. more like a Garage yard than a B&B. That said I would be happy to return. Great English breakfast. I used single room and so everyone should be aware ;- steep stairs but not too many-the low roof in places but can be navigated-a bath. i.e. No shower was a shock for someone who hasn't seen a bath for 10 years.Being able to walk in town made up for these small drawbacks.

Excellent location in town centre, very good freshly cooked breakfast. Bedroom clean and comfortable but deducting one star because bedding was cheap and ‘scratchy’.

We stayed for 5 nights.The location and breakfasts were excellent.The part-sloping ceiling in the 2nd floor bedroom was not so good.

We only booked in for one night, we had room 7 which was a large room with a double bed and single bed. The room was spotless, and had everything required Sky television. Not that we watched the tele but ideal if you were on a longer stay. Mick the owner was great and very informative. Good sized bathroom again spotless. Breakfast was self ordering with a time slot which suited us. Well presented. We gave stayed in Skipton on a number of occasions at different b&b first time here and would stay here again when visiting Skipton. Highly recommended.

With only a little window of time to check in, I was in and out with a flash. Mick sorted me out quickly and gave me the run down of what was what. Upon my return, it was another case of everything proving to be easy and breakfast was a simple yet pleasant affair. For the price, I have no complaints whatsoever. Fantastic shower pressure.

Central location with private parking so easy access to all local amenities. It’s a no frills B&B, hence the price but don’t let this out you off as it was very pleasant.

The B&B is easy to access being situated right in the centre with private parking. The area was quiet being located away from the main road. Breakfast was lovely, room very spacious and clean and tidy. Stairs a little tricky to navigate as they were tight and steep but overall a nice stay. Would recommend if you want something fuss free and central.

My husband and I only had one night to spend in Skipton and it was a Saturday night to boot. No problems here on staying only one night on a weekend. We stayed in the top room which was perfect. The dormer window was cool. Amenities are just what you need and nothing more, which is good as the cost is low. Great location as it is within walking distance of all Skipton has to offer. Room was so clean that I could actually see my reflection in the sink while brushing my teeth!! Previous comments mention no flexibility in the breakfast serving times. I believe the owner likes to be organized and wants your breakfast served correctly and on time so nothing wrong with a bit of pre-planning on what you want to eat and at what time! We had a very tasty breakfast and got to chat with Mick as well. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you Mick!!

A functional, practical bed and breakfast in the centre of town but in a quiet location off the main shopping street with plenty of parking.The usual facilities provided, very clean and tidy with plenty of hot water.Individual apartment rooms.A good choice of breakfast provided.Excellent for business users.We wanted a night out with a meal.The Sound Bar was excellent with soul music from the sixties and seventies just a short walk away.

I would certainly stay here again.The room and bathroom were lovely - spacious, spotlessly clean and the shower was far better than my one at home! The host was incredibly helpful and allowed me to leave my bag in the building before check-in and also after check-out.This really helped.My only reservation was the breakfast, as I eat healthily and would have liked some fresh fruit to be available and fresh grilled tomatoes.Apart from that, all excellent.

Very nice stay. Location is ideal, right by the high street with private parking. Room was as described and very clean. Kept awake by a car alarm but hardly their fault! Nice breakfast in the morning.

Stayed on New Year's Eve so we could let the New Year in at Skipton.Room was a nice size with all necessary amenities.Sky TV available and room was well heated for a cold winter night.Mick was very helpful with his knowledge of the local town and the location was excellent - just through a ginnel and you were on the High St. Would recommend anyone stay here if you are wanting a reasonably priced stay in Skipton!

Centrally - placed in town, yet in a quiet location, this guest house offered a comfortable room and good quality all round, plus a friendly welcome from the owner.I will certainly stay there again if ever I plan to be in Skipton again.

We came up to Skipton for our annual Christmas visit. Once again it was a pleasure to stay at the Townhouse. Our room was very clean and provided with all that we needed. The breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked for us. Another reason that we like the Townhouse is that parking is provided and we can just leave the car.
